Various "other" things of interest:

Here is a Behind the Researcher video about my music interests made by CMU's College of Engineering, as well as the complete performance of First Ride written by Don Ross (December 2020).

Here are a few videos of me playing guitar at some concerts in Belgium ...

- Air (on a G string) (J.S. Bach, March 2011)

- Saturday Night Shuffle (Merle Travis, March 2009)

- A Day in November (Leo Brouwer, March 2009)

A few recordings made at the beautiful outdoor setting of Nrityagram (Dance Village) just North of Bangalore, India, on August 10, 2019. The steel string guitar was provided by Debadarshini Samantaray, and the recordings were made by Shwetha Shetty, both doctoral students at the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore.

Here are a few recordings of songs played on a nylon string guitar during a music presentation at the University of Antwerp on June 13, 2019.

And here are a few audio .wav files from an open mic event on January 2nd, 2019 at the Rochester Inn (north of Pittsburgh); thanks to Greta Zewe for the recordings!!!

With Norman Cook, I presented a poster (7.2 Mb, PDF) on
Modeling the Sonority of Chord Progressions: Toward a psychophysical explanation of the "rules" of traditional harmony theory
at the 2009 conference of the Society for Music Perception and Cognition (8/3-6/09).
